Forging

One of the lines of VolgaStalProekt LLC business is manufacturing of forging blanks and products for different spheres of industry, such as nuclear and energy engineering, petro chemistry, ship building etc.

Forging manufacturing is made by free forging method using forging presses and hammers with following heat treatment and mechanical processing.

Forgings are shipped with certificates on meeting with requirements of GOST 8479-70, GOST 25054-81, OST 108.109.01-92, OST 108.030.113-87, ST CKBA, OST 5R9125-84 and other standards and technical conditions. The shipment of products with meeting the acceptance forms of specialized (authorized) organization, Russian Maritime register and Military acceptance the Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation is possible, using destructive and non-destructive methods of control in certified laboratories (UST, mechanical tests, intercrystalline corrosion tests, macro- and microstructure control), with normalized grain size, ferrite phase and non-metal inclusion.
