VolgaStalProekt LLC got invention patent on a new way of metal mechanical test in 06.02.2017. The authors of the invention are Gliner Roman Efimovich, Katyuchin Evgeniy Borisovich, Pryanichnikov Vladislav Alexandrovich, Shabin Alexy Valerievich.

The novelty of the invention is in staged cold deformation of test sample, where the circle, which limits the sample’s loading surface, is transformed into an ellipse. The longitude of ellipse’s axes is measured after each stress, the main deformation vectors and intensity are determined; hardness is measured by Vickers method. Then the dependence between deformation intensity and hardness is determined as a result of the approximation of graphical dependency of these parameters. In practice the determination of dependency explicitly is conducted as a result of a laboratory test, in which metal is stressed up to different levels of intensity, during this its hardness is being measured.
