New furnace for steel and iron-copper alloys heat treatment started work

In July 2019 in VolgaStalProekt LLC heat treatment section, second furnace for steel and iron-copper alloys heat treatment started work. This largely increases the production capabilities of the enterprise. Technical specs of the furnace allow to perform bulk heat treatment for items made from more than 100 steel grades and alloys with the maximum size up to 3000 mm (L) х2500 mm (W)х1500 mm(H).

   •   Maximum heating temperature, °C – 1150;
   •   Operating temperature range, °C – 300-1150;
   •   Temperature distribution accuracy in furnace workspace, °C – ±5;
   •   Maximum caging weight, t – 10,0;
   •   Quench medium – water, industrial oil И-20А;
   •   Hardening tanks maximum workspace, mm: – 4000 (L) х 3000 (W)х 2500(H)
   •   Hardening fluid volume, m³ – 24

Hardening tanks are equipped with hardening fluid temperature control and regulating system and cooling intensity control system with impellers.
